Why the Art of Car ?

Posted: 2020/03/27 in Uncategorized

art of car picbWhy the Art of Car ? … Because the car is a living machine with life blood i.e. engine oil and a heart beat i.e. engine timing and spark plugs. A car is given a name by the manufacturer, and a vehicle identification number (VIN) number at the date of birth.  The average life expectancy of a new vehicle these days is around 8 years or 150,000 miles. Of course, some well-built vehicles can go 15 years and 300,000, if properly maintained.

The car must move and run to maintain good health and keep the energy level up in the battery.  While running, it will maintain  a temperature of about 160 degrees. Tires must be inflated to match the surface traveled on.

The mechanic is the exoteric master who understands the soul of the machine.

To know your car is to know yourself …

  • Conception and creation of a car
  • Intellectual property (Copywrites, trademarks)
  • Engineering
  • Manufacturing
  • Programming
  • Sales
  • Laws and procedures
  • Maintenance

What is the soul of the car…?

Metaphysically the car is a living soul… an object of our love.

The car was a rock that turned into iron…

The iron turned into steel…

The steel turned into a car…

The potential of the rock turned into a car through the will of humans.

Do we love a rock, a car, or the men who turned the rock into a car?

The transmutation of the rock into a car… is it magic, or was it a process?

The transmutation of a car into love… is it romanticism, delusion, or cognitive dissonance?

The love of a car is real love and is manifested in pain, fear, anticipation, longing, ect…

Where did Jesus go for three days after he died?

The Bible does not specifically state what happened to Jesus immediately after He died on the cross.  Because of this, there is debate surrounding the answer to the question of where He went and what He did.

A timeline is a legal concept that helps prove a theory to be true or not to be true.  A representation of,  or exhibit of key events within the confines of  a chronological order.

Because there is no Biblical record or any way of authenticating the facts with evidence that Jesus is in fact  alive or dead, we must therefore believe with faith that either Jesus never died or did die and came back to life.

Habeas corpus (Show me the body) is a writ that a person may seek from a court to obtain immediate release from jail, in jail for or accused of a crime they did not commit.

No one killed Jesus because Jesus is not dead.

The Romans, through a high court, ordered Jesus to death by crucifixion, hung him on a cross after torturing and beating him to confess being a leader in the insurrection against Rome,  that he was accused of.

Jesus quietly professed his innocence and was acquitted by the court for the insurrection.  However, through political pressure and lack of concern for a peasant, Jesus was sentenced to death by crucifixion by the high court of Rome.

There is no physical body or dead body to produce, therefore no one killed Jesus.  If Jesus is a fictional character, what does it matter anyway where he went? As long as I believe he is alive…

Come in naked and leave naked

prayer

I was in deep meditation, thinking about life.  Captured in a picture at Dead Tree Ranch near Palm Springs California by my daughter.

At 66 years old I am heading toward the end of my life with no regrets.  Life for me has not been easy or trouble free.  I have been shot at, cut, stabbed, almost blow up, had surgery that almost killed me, I had a son die to crib death, I had a debilitating stroke, Almost drowned, and that is what I can share with you.

My guardian angel has had to work overtime to watch over me. My children taught me unconditional love and humility. I am thankful to be living and for everything in my life.

One thing I came to realize is that no one gets out alive, and no one takes anything with them when they leave. Come in naked and leave naked.

Ash Wednesday and Lent

This Wednesday, the season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday.  Ash Wednesday derives its name from the placing of ashes on our foreheads  saying, ” I Repent, and I believe in the Gospel” ,”I am dust, and to dust I shall return.  The ashes are prepared by burning palm leaves from the previous year’s Palm Sunday celebrations.

The  word Lent is a shortened form the word lencten, meaning “spring season”. The term Lent signifies the period 40 days before the Passover holiday. In modern Greek the term is Σαρακοστή (Sarakostí), derived from the earlier Τεσσαρακοστή (Tessarakostí), meaning “fortieth”. The corresponding word in Latin, quadragesima (“fortieth”), is the origin of the terms used in Latin.

  • Mosesspent 40 days on Mount Sinai with God (Exodus 24:18)
  • Elijah spent 40 days and nights walking to Mount Horeb (1 Kings 19:8)
  • God sent 40 days and nights of rain in the great flood of Noah (Genesis 7:4)
  • The Hebrew people wandered 40 years in the desert while traveling to the Promised Land (Numbers 14:33)
  • Jonah’s prophecy of judgment gave 40 days to the city of Nineveh in which to repent or be destroyed (Jonah 3:4).
  • Jesus retreated into the wilderness, where He fasted for 40 days, and was tempted by the devil (Matthew 4:1–2, Mark 1:12–13, Luke 4:1–2).

There are traditionally 40 days in Lent; these days are marked by fasting, both from foods and festivities, and by other acts of surrender. The three traditional other practices during Lent are prayer, justice, and showing kindness to others.

Although not in the Bible, Ash Wednesday and Lent is a time of Christian renewal, started in the Twelfth Century. A tradition that continues today, that was started over a thousand years ago before most had access to scripture or could read them.

Fat Tuesday or Mardi Gras the day before Ash Wednesday has become more important than Passover. A time of drunken partying in the streets… No need to explain that.
