One picture is worth a thousand words, or face recognitions?
The picture in the link below was taken with a camera having 70,000 x 30,000 pixels (2100 Megapixels). It can identify a face in a large quantity of people. The cameras are not sold to the public and are being installed in strategic locations.
Open the link below, place the cursor in the sea of people and left double click a couple times. It will continue to show the people much closer. There were thousands of people and yet one can spot and recognize any face.
