Story one

Social Media in the www Wild,Wild,West I love your stories.

The original post:

Okay, what more can happen….swamp cooler don’t work needs a new filter. House is hot! Both bath tubs back up so now i need a plumber! Let’s just add some more on me here…go ahead! It’s only 106 degrees today! Which is worst no air conditioning, or plumbing problem? Hm…. Which would you take first?

The Replies:

I take a pass on all

Isnt the swamper new?

Treviño Ogod it probably hot in that house

Rent an air conditioned motel room for a week…..

the swamp cooler I would fix first…………106 is way to hot………….my son fixed his bathtub with 99 cent store drano and a bottle of bleach………it was backing up his kitchen sink too……… worked……..still amazed that it worked.

I’d go check into a hotel room with ac. Hang In There. It must be hot out there.

Thanks getting plumbing fix tonite. Can’t go to motel I have too many animals here.

Brother Ron wrote: Cool off outside with the hose that way you can kill two birds with one stone, You will be able to cool off and you don’t have to worry about the plumbing inside your house.

Brother Ron wrote: Don’t let the water police catch you, but if they do tell them you’re going to dry off by laying in the sun on the sidewalk. That way tell them, I can save electricity and water, by not washing a towel which will more that make up for the water I used to cool off.

Jackson I hope things are better !!!!

Time to go to the casino!

Gotta appreciate the internet is working today!

That’s right, have to be grateful anyways. I know things will get fixed eventually, just have to be patient.

swamp cooler!! Hang in there my friend!!Let me know when you get it fixed so I can come see you!!

Go get yourself a 24 and think about it. A 24 in Canada is a Case of Beer!

I did Gary Hatcher!

God Stuff, did it help!

Yep, and leftover for tonite!

The follow up post:

Oh thank God! My swamp cooler is fix now I have cool air now! ((Yea)) and the plumbing is fix too! Thank you Lord for hearing my prayers! And it didn’t cost me anything. My plumber friend fix it for “free”. I am so grateful!

The replies:

See !!!! good !

Just in time for the weather to start cooling down

Brother Ron wrote: Your friend didn’t fix it free, you were given $300. in labor that took many years of experience to understand. G-d works in mysterious ways. Both of you got a gift you needed help and were able to get your prayers answered. You friend was able to become the hands of G-d to answer them. The cooler was just a insignificant way to give you both a way to experience true life. Uncondional love amoung friends.

Well, thanks> Brother Ron for clairfying that for me  (Not understanding the $300 part though) If your referring the cost of the swamp cooler, it cost $867.00 total. It’s the “big baby” on top of my roof for the house.

Brother Ron wrote: Even more to be thankful for. Lol

Social Media is the way many people all over the world communicate. Yes, it is small talk, and yes, there is no reasonable expectation of privacy, but it allows users to have a sense of community or belonging.

Nothing on the internet is written in stone. Everything can disappear with the flash of an ultraviolet light.

However, we can encourage each other with parody (LOL), give misinformed advice to each other without worrying about being liable for some tort, action and we can let our inner selves go wild.

With that being said, I have myself gotten others angry with me by unintentionally going on and on with babblings. I become like a ship running without a rudder. I go on and on about things that I have firsthand knowledge about but others see as wrong.

Social media is a dangerous playground. There is no expectation of privacy, it is a public forum in cyberspace out in the www Wild, Wild, West of just on’s and off’s.

The word of G-d, the bible, the writings of saints, and all the spiritual writings have been authenticated historically throughout the years.

Electronic media is like a puff of smoke that is here and disappears. Electronic media exists only in the equipment that interprets it…. All can be lost in the twinkling of an eye or a power outage and nothing will be left. All our hopes and dreams, our friends, even our source of news can be stopped at the flick of a switch or a act of G-d.

Write a letter, have a coffee or a glass of water with a friend. Say hello to the people you meet everyday.

As much fun as social media is, and it is fun and addicting, we as humans need each other. The device in your hand is keeping you from the comfort of the touch of someone who loves you.

Hold on to your Bibles and spiritual books they may become rare or impossible to get.

Gardian Angel

O Angel of Christ, my holy Guardian and Protector of my soul and body, forgive me all my sins of today. Deliver me from all the wiles of the enemy, that I may not anger my God by any sin. Pray for me, sinful and unworthy servant, that thou mayest present me worthy of the kindness and mercy of the All-holy Trinity and the Mother of my Lord Jesus Christ, and of all the Saints. Amen.

Our creator, maker of all things visible, pure is your name. Your choices come to exist, in our containment as it is in the visible. Give us down here daily our necessity of food. Let go of our wandering from the path. As we let go those who owe us. Bring us not toward experiments, but draw us toward yourself. Separate us from hardship and labor.

Proverb of the week:

An ant on the move does more than a dozing ox.

Quote of the week:

I entreat you not to leave your heart unguarded, so long as you are in the body. Just as a farmer cannot feel

confident about the crop growing in his fields, because he does not know what will happen to it before it is

stored away in his granary, so a man should not leave his heart unguarded so long as he still has breath in his

nostrils. Up to his last breath he cannot know what passion will attack him; so long as he breathes, therefore, he

must not leave his heart unguarded, but should at every moment pray to God for His help and mercy.
